I Have Enjoyed My 2017 Fiat For Over A Year Now (Purchased Used With Only 6500Miles).

Service guy said there is no way to check condition of the battery pack on this cars and if they go bad would cost upwards of $15k to replace and only bosch in california sells them. I am guessing most of these are new car bugs as the car is still very new in production and hopefully fiat will be fixing them with an upgrade at some point. Generally i am delighted with my 3 month old 500e prima but it does have a few quirks.

This was troubling as when it displayed lets say 20 miles it would die in 8. I could argue (assuming i charge at home) how surprised i am at how limited the range of a diesel suv is based on £3 of fuel, currently 200 miles in my fiat 500e. Of the miles between 40 and 50 miles will be hwy miles each day (appx 80%).

I'm thinking about buying a used 500e ('13 or '14). If you're really wanting the increased range, you could buy a used i3 pack with the 90ah cells, strip it of the packs, and swap them into the 500e's pack. Web  — my 500e would squiggly and squirm down the lane at speeds above 50.
